The Church of St Mary the Less (or properly Our Lady of Grace)

(If it's in red and underlined then it's a link to more information)

The church where we found the headstone (now called Little Saint Mary's) is in Trumpington Street, Cambridge sandwiched between Peterhouse College and Little St Mary's Lane.

The churchyard to the east (Trumpington Street) side and the north (Little St Mary's Lane) side is well manicured and recent memorial stones are carefully placed in a chamomile lawn.  To the west of the church is a 'wild flower' area.

The church itself is wonderfully maintained and is open for prayer during the day times.  The altar itself is subject to an alarm. The font, in which a number of Fynns were baptised, has a huge lid and we could not work out how it was removed.
