Felix Freeth Fynn(1886-1917) (If it's in red and underlined then it's a link to more information) The symbol: '@@@@@@' indicates that detail has been hidden to reduce 'identity theft' risks. See Legal stuff. Felix Freeth Fynn: Born 26th December 1886 (a premature birth?) - see: (Certificate) at 7 Portugal Place, St Giles, Cambridge. This was John Neville’s house. The house no longer exists; having been replaced by offices. See Portugal Place John gives his occupation as a ‘Tailor and Robe Maker’. Mary’s maiden name is given as SMYTH. Felix later married a Nellie Edith Hobson-Frohock. There is much confusion over the Hobson-Frohocks as each birth and marriage is registered twice; once as a Hobson and once a Hobson-Frohock. Suffice to say they are no doubt descendents of Hobson as in Hobson's Conduits and Hobson's Choice. Felix and Nellie had one son, John Fynn, born on 9th October 1916 at 15 Talbot Road, Stafford. Felix was by then a tobacconist but died a year later in the 'flu epidemic. The son, John later married Vera Patricia @@@@@@ on 6th July 1940 at the Methodist Church, Alfreton, Derby. John was described both as a Stationery Salesman, and a Private in the Royal Army Service Corps. Vera was a member of the W.A.T.S. Vera and John later had one daughter, Penelope Ann Fynn, born @@@@ 1945. Penny has one daughter and four grand children. Go to Family Trees for advice on downloading the various family trees. More details of Felix's descendents are shown on the Fynn Family tree. We await confirmation of that part of the tree from Penny Fynn.
