When I recently re-looked at this certificate I thought that I'd found a "FLYNN" transposition.  Look at the "F" in the name and surname column.  It really looks like an "Fl".  But if you look at the "F" for "Female" in the next column you can see that it was the style of the writer.  But someone else looking at it quickly might just get the idea her surname was FLYNN and you can see how easy the name got changed...
